I am honored to be under contract with The Daily Grace Co. to write an upcoming book on anxiety. This project flows directly from my work in biblical counseling, where I regularly walk with women through fear, suffering, and questions about God’s presence. My hope is to offer a resource that is both theologically grounded and deeply practical for everyday life. More details will be shared in the coming months.
Finding Hope in Suffering & the Practice of Lament
​In this podcast conversation, I join Stacee and Doug to talk about suffering and the often-overlooked biblical practice of lament. As a biblical counselor in Oklahoma City, I often walk with women who wrestle with the “why” behind their pain and wonder if God has forgotten them. We discuss how Scripture meets us honestly in those questions and gently leads us toward hope. My prayer is that this conversation reminds you that God is near, even in the hardest seasons.
What is Lament? A Midweek Teaching Series
I had the opportunity to speak at Council Road Baptist Church during a Midweek Service on biblical lament. In this teaching, I walk through what lament is, common barriers we face, the general flow of lament, and how it can be deeply formative in the spiritual life of everyday Christians.
